[DEHC] Walk in Franklin Park, Sunday June 25, 9 a.m.

Sunday, June 25th, 9 am. Come to the Walk in Franklin Park.  Sponsored by 
Dorchester Historical Society, The Franklin Park Coalition, and the 
Frederick Law Olmsted National Historic Site.  We will visit the Valley 
Gates, Playstead Overlook, White Stadium, the Old Bears Den, Rock Garden 
and site of the Rose Garden.  Meet at Rear “Giraffe” entrance (accessible 
from both the Blue Hill Avenue and Forest Hills entrances to Franklin 
Park).  From Blue Hill Ave., go ¼ mile (passing main entrance to Zoo) and 
take first right turn. Follow road to end.  The walk will last approx. 90

This is a good mix of park appreciation and usage, support for cultural 
life in Dorchester, and exercise.
