Join Boston’s Urban Forest Coalition (BUFC) for an 
inspiring evening with 2004 Nobel Peace Laureate Dr. Wangari Maathai. 
 
The first environmentalist & first African woman to receive the Nobel 
Peace Prize, 
Dr. Maathai will share her message of empowerment and hope for the future 
through the simple steps of planting and protecting trees in our 
communities. 
 
On Tuesday, October 24, 2006, at Boston’s historic Faneuil Hall, 7:30 pm.
