The Metropolitan Area Planning Council (MAPC) is in the process of 
updating the Regional Pedestrian Plan. 
MAPC's Plan  will inform important future transportation decisions by 
identifying and recommending policies and practices to promote walking as 
a convenient, safe, healthy and practical form of transportation 
throughout the 101 cities and towns of the MAPC region.
