[DEHC] Invitation - Feb. 27 Neponset Event

Dear Friend of the Environment,

You’re invited!  On Tuesday night, February 27, the Neponset River Watershed
Association will be holding an Open House. Mini presentations will describe
conservation projects underway in the Neponset Watershed.

Come learn about:

*	Development of riverside trails & canoe launches
*	Advocacy for the cleanup of contaminated river sediments & removal of
obsolete dams
*	Reducing the negative environmental impacts of proposed developments
*	Efforts to improve water quality
*	Strengthening water conservation policies
*	Restoring damaged wetlands & streams

The Open House will take place from 7-8:30PM on Tues., February 27, at the
Canton Public Library, 786 Washington St., Canton. The Library is within
walking distance of the Canton Center commuter rail station. For directions
