New England’s largest conference for citizen activists protecting public
health and the environment

Join us in celebrating our 20th annual environmental leadership conference
on March 24, 2007 at Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, MA.
Morning SPEAKER: Lois Gibbs, famed activist from Love Canal, NY and
Director of CHEJ
Afternoon SPEAKER: Dan Cantor, Executive Director of the Working Families
Party
The conference will offer over 35 workshops to help you develop skills
and strategies to win your fights against pollution in your communities,
including:
* Generating Front Page Media Coverage
* Winning the Support of Elected Officials
* Recruiting New Members for Your Group
* Planning a Winning Campaign
* Fundraising and Grant Writing
Other workshops will focus on the critical issues all of us are working
on, including hazardous waste cleanup, pesticide-free ponds, clean energy,
landfills and trash transfer stations, and diesel and air pollution.
Toxics Action 2007 will be a day to recognize our many victories over the
year and be inspired to go back to our communities and continue the fight
to protect the health and safety of our families.
