[DEHC] Youth Care about OUR Parks.....

SCI Dorchester and the Franklin Park Coalition are supporting the 
Dorchester Youth Council for the second consecutive year as they plan to 
celebrate National Youth Service Day and Earth Day by giving back to their 
community, organizing their peers to participate, and improving the local 
environment. The Youth Council hopes many youth organizations will join 
them in Franklin Park for a day of service. We expect between 100-200 
teens to participate. 

In advance of the service day the Youth Council will host a  Civic 
Engagement Forum: games, refreshments, and break out sessions on pressing 
social issues. At the Franklin Park Golf Clubhouse on Thursday, April 19th 
5:00 ? 8:00 pm

The Dorchester Environmental Coalition's Community Involvement Team will 
be facilitating a work shop at the forum. If you are interested in 
volunteering or have any questions or suggestions, please contact Crystal
