[DEHC] Reminder: Sat 9-22 CommunityVolunteerDay at Sharon ’s Park 9-1

This is just to remind everyone that this  Saturday, September 22 from 
9:00 a.m. 1:00 p.m. is a Community Volunteer Day at Sharon’s Park. 
Sharon's Park is on Columbia Road near the JFK UMass T station. We want to 
put the finishing touches on our landscaping for the season. Our task will 
be to follow landscape architect David Warner’s recommendations which 
include: 
 
1)      Removing the excess stone and debris
 
2)      Leveling the topsoil around the new walk & plaza by cutting high 
areas and filling low areas.
 
3)      Touching up mulch beds so soil and mulch does not spill onto 
Eco-pavers

4)       Slice over-seeding grass
 
5)      Raking, weeding and just generally sprucing up the Park
 
Hope to see you this Saturday, September 22 from 9:00 a.m. 1:00 p.m.. Come 
down with rakes and brooms, get to know neighbors better, get some 
exercise and beautify your neighborhood.
