Announcing an Open House of the Neponset River Watershed Association
7PM, Wednesday, February 27
* Come learn what the Neponset River Watershed Association is all about! *
Protecting the Neponset River Watershed includes a variety of activities.
Come learn just what makes up the work of the Watershed Association! A
sample of NepRWA's activities includes: Advocating for riverside greenways,
Modifying development plans and policy to make them more river- and
groundwater-friendly, Running a water quality monitoring program, Locating
and pressing for repairs to faulty riverside sewer pipes, Educating
waterfront property owners about environmentally-friendly yard maintenance,
Advocating for the cleanup of riverside toxins and the modification of
obsolete dams, Installing stormwater treatment structures, and Involving the
public in river restoration.
This is the perfect opportunity to get your questions answered. Please join
us this Wednesday night.
Time: 7:00PM - 8:30PM
Cost to attend: This event is free and open to the public. Invite
