Please share information about this exciting opportunity with young
people you know. If you?re running a summer employment program, the
youth participants will be back before a July 7 ^th start.

The National Hispanic Environmental Council has joined forces with the
National Parks Service to host the 2nd Minority Youth Environmental
   Training Institute from June 27 - July 2, 2008 in New York . It 's a
great educational and networking experience for 16-18 year olds
interested in environmental careers and leadership.

Applications and more information can be found at www.nheec.org. They
are still accepting applications and they have opened up a few spots
for Boston residents . The program includes a scholarship that covers
the cost of participation. The Boston Youth Environmental Network may
be able to cover travel and lodging for participants.

If interested, you must contact Juan Rodriguez, Program Coordinator at
NHEEC immediately at 703-861-6064 or jrodriguez at nheec.org) . Please
also contact me so I can offer assistance with travel if necessary.
